I made banana/blueberry bars yesterday. Went over well with the kids and Mrs. Bot's workmates...oh and I found them lovely myself, but the other folks mentioned are not vegan and so the fact that they enjoyed them is important to mention.

so true, i had some halal meat placed on my lap the other day 'in jest' - i wish my colleagues would realize veganism is cool & tasty too - ah but i'm getting , what? puritanical?, hardened? ...no drunk ha ha ha
good for you jeremy! i like it when we do stuff & people appreciate it & then ask 'was this vegan?' its like ...YES you can live without animal abuse, love animals not just their corpses!

    Shit! Dreadful sorry old timer...

1 tablespoon of ground flax seed soaked for ten minutes in three tablespoons water (or egg replacer of your choice)
    1/4 cup of Margerine
    3/8 cup Blue Agave (1/4 cup plus 1/8 cup)...or 3/4 cups sugar
    2 B-nanners...over ripe
    1/2 teaspoon of vanilla X-tract
    1 Cup flour, sifted
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    Heat your hotbox to 350 (175 c)
    lightly lube an 8x8 pan
process together the replacer, margerine, agave (or sugar) nanners and van X-tract and set aside...
In a good sized bowl whisk together your flour, baking soda and salt.
Add the wet to the dry and mix together gently...BY HAND until just mixed. DON'T OVER WORK THIS!
pour the goo into your pan.
Here is where I plopped on the blueberries. You could do nuts, raisins or dark choco chips.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes (same in metric...regardless of time zone)
or until your toothpick or switchblade comes out clean.
Let cool on rack...cool COMPLETELY before cutting into bars...about more than an hour or seventeen litres or eight rods.

    AND VOILA!!

That looks so good! stinkbot thanx for the recipe.
    heres mine. way easy

    get vegan chocolate.
doublebroil. a pot of boiling water and a bigger pot on top. non stick is best.
put vegan chocolate with almond milk and a lil bit of earth balance in the top pot.
melt it all down. and stir

    spoon in cupcake papers.
put a spoonfull of yer fav. vegan peanutbutter on top of the chocolate.
then another spoonful of melted chocolate mixture on top of that.
    put in freezer.
    eat cold er thawed!
