    New Zealand

    Recommendations anyone?
I'll be there for 4 weeks in November. I want to checkout both islands.
And yes I will definitely be in Wellington Nov. 28th

There's loads of amazing stuff everywhere.. it depends what you're into. Loads of tourists doing the same stuff you'll be doing so it's hard to get away from the trail. Definitely don't waste too much time hanging around cities (although Wellington and Dunedin are cool).

    Any questions, just ask.

    Awesome, thanks.
Definitely want to hang out in nature and avoid cities. I rented a campervan from mighty campers. I want to do kayaking / canoeing at some point too.

Check this out for cheap/free places to park up: http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-rec...laces-to-stay/

Sea Kayaking in Abel Tasman is totally amazing.

We did this http://www.raftabout.co.nz/white-wat...tuna-waterfall, which was cool, but I would have preferred a longer trip, even with less intense rapids. Rotorua is probably the place to go to find this sort of stuff.

Yep DOC seems to be the way to go...there's an app for smartphones with GPS too.
And yeah Rotorua is on the list
What's that river again on the north island (south-west)? Heard canoeing is amazing there too. I think the 32h flight gives me enough time to study lonely planet...hahaha

Can't comment on that river I'm afraid, we spent too long in the South and had to rush through the North, which was a big mistake.

    Great pictures. So envious!
If anyone comes across a copy of Bajo Tierra's "Sala X" 7" from Medellin, Colombia. I really want it!
