Generacion Suicida - Todo Termina 12” is finally officially out!!!

"Second 12" from Generacion Suicida from South Central, Los Angeles. This time around the group brings 9 tracks of their powerful trademark sound. They play melodic, angular and catchy punk with oscillating male/female vocals creating a serrated edge of paranoia and anxiety of a modern day LA. This is real punk; rudimentary and raw but not in a dumb way; this is eloquent and it sounds like it coulda come out of LA in 1979 or just plain yesterday. They sing solely in Spanish and remind of bands from other countries, mainly Umea, Sweden; in the Ny Vag tradition of The Vicious and Masshysteri or Copenhagen's Gorilla Angreb and No Hope For The Kids which sort of bring the sound back home to California because those Scandinavians borrowed heavily from Los Angeles’s past (late ‘70s Dangerhouse, especially). But this is not a ripoff band, not some knock off, not some imitation, not a homage or retro dress up party, this is what the group does best. On this new 12" GS sped it up; playing it even more blistering fast and melodic, almost sounding in places like a kind of melancholic take on pogo punk. Essential. Artwork by: Lovro Škiljić (Biblical Violence Illustrations)"

Doomtown's next release - Savageheads 7" is ready for pre-order!

"Savageheads is a Boston outfit that blew everyone away with their demo and now they're back with an even more memorable follow-up 7". These guys play a thumping, tough as nails, stripped down and catchy as hell brand of classic 1-2, 1-2 UK82 inspired hardcore punk with bruising vocals, sharp guitar riffs and a rhythm section that sounds like it's done a pharmacy full of speed. The band consists of Bloodkrow Butcher, No Sir I Won't, Male Nurses and Subclinix members."

We will have some limited quantities of red vinyl available for mailorder only. Please notice: this is a pre-order! Records will be shipped on 15th April.

Our new release, MODERN DELUSION - DAYS OF US 12" LP is finally ready and officially out.

DT 016 Modern Delusion - Days of Us 12"

After two releases on Doomtown records, Wasteland tape and split single with Chresus Jist, this synth-oriented, gloomy post punk trio from Zagreb city managed to craft twelve memorable songs for their highly anticipated debut LP.

"Days of Us" captures bleak atmosphere and isolation caused by living in the big city on some shitty part of the world and the 4-track lo-fi production doesn't hurt either. Wide range of influences come from some classic synth punk sounds like Devo, The Screamers or Units and there's definitely some obvious influence from Yugoslavian post-punk/new wave scene and bands such as Paraf and some newer stuff not unlike Jay Reatard's Lost Sounds. But this is not straight up death rock, post-punk or goth revival band, Modern Delusion build up their own trademark sound with strong melancholic touch and vocals soaked in reverb backed up with punk attitude and primitive raw sound.

Modern Delusion are one of the most hardworking active bands in Croatia. The band managed to play bunch of shows around region and they did two European tours while still managed to put out 3 releases in the period of only year and a half of existence. That's quite impressive for the band from this part of the world we must say.

Silkscreened sleeves come in two different colors; red and grey. Artwork by Dirt Sleeze.

You can buy 12" here: http://livinginadoomtown.bigcartel.c...us-12-doomtown
    Stream/Download here: https://doomtownrecords.bandcamp.com...-days-of-us-12

If you're interested in a wholesale deal get in touch via email: doomtownrec@gmail.com

We still have some limited copies of Savageheads 7", Generacion Suicida 12", Warsong 12", Modern Delusion tapes, Modern Delusion / Chresus Jist 7"and Divided Minds 7" available from our catalogue.

Our new release, Quod Massacre - Fait Accomply 83-86 CS re-issue is officially out!

DOOMTOWN RECORDS proudly presents: QUOD MASSACRE "Faith Accomply" 83-86 official tape repress approved by the band members and Gvido Obradović of NO PROFIT TAPES.

For those who are not familiar with the band, Quod Massacre's history began in the early 80's in the city of Ljubljana (ex-Yugoslavia) where hardcore punk and underground scene was highly prolific and had its steady grip and following. According to some enthusiasts, QM was one of the best things that happened on the ex-Yugoslavian 80's scene along with U.B.R., III KATEGORIJA, PARAF, TOZIBABE, SOLUNSKI FRONT and a few others. During the 80's and 90's QM participated in many international vinyl and cassette compilations sharing their songs with bands such as Wretched, Raw Power, Funeral Oration, Mob 47, Instigators etc.

QM stands for melodic and deeply melancholic sound, strong and highly energetic and passionate hardcore punk with a large dose of sensitivity, originality and compositions that go well beyond the classic punk cannon. If you like good old 80's sounding hardcore punk, ex-Yugo punk and European hardcore in general, do not skip on this essential reissue.

Original tape that was released in 1986 is now remastered by Gvido Obradović of NPT and repressed for the first time in form of 200 pro dubbed tapes with pad print. Each tape comes with original A5 14-page zine/booklet. Available in white, blue and green colors.

Two new releases on DOOMTOWN and one new release on our sub-label Outsider Tapes!

Generacion Suicida - Los Primeros Anos CS (DT 018)

No need for an introduction, as these South Central LA ghetto punks made a name for themselves in the modern DIY punk scene with their trademark sound: blistering fast, melodic and cathy punk rock sung in Spanish. This limited tape compiles the songs from their first demo, S/T 7" and the Catholic Spit split 7", which is sold out. Punk tape fanatics around the globe, you need this one!

Pro-dubbed tapes, limited run of 150 copies, available in various colors.

THE CELETOIDS - Pupal Stage CS (DT 019)

Although The Celetoids are a fairly new band, their members were involved in bands whose records we've put out in the past. Remember the Modern Delusion/Chresus Jist split 7"? Well, 2/3 of Modern Delusion teamed up with the drummer from the now-defunct Chresus Jist and thats how The Celetoids journey began.

The trio plays a frantic, nervous and rabid kind of furious punk rock inspired by the first wave of British punk and obscure KBD gems, even outsider punk weirdos like Rudimentary Peni, whilst the lyrics read like ramblings about Max Headroom, gremlins, paranormal activities, suicide, worthlessness of the human species and general paranoia.

Pro-dubbed tapes, limited run of 175 copies featuring artwork by The Celetoids' very own Dirt Sleeze.

CAL AND THE CALORIES - Greatest Assssss CS (OT 004)

This one was previously released on Lumpy Records, one of the most interesting punk labels on the planet in the last few years.

What we have here is a collection of twelve ass-shaking hits that Martin's garagey pop punk band recorded between 2013-2015, so if you missed their seven-inchers and cassingles or are just too lazy for the 7" format in general, this is a great opportunity to get the whole package, also including two unreleased songs.

Pressed on 125 pro-dubbed white tapes. Each tape comes with a two-sided foldout J-card insert in various colors.

The next release on Doomtown Records is european press of Silent Era's debut vinyl release! This one is co-released with Sabotage Records.

Silent Era's S/T 7'' preorder is up. Record will be out on July 25th and shipped right after that!

    Preorder vinyl here: http://goo.gl/IvIYHT
    Stream/Download: https://goo.gl/6YFfC8

    Press Info:

"Upbeat, fast and moody political punk from the Bay Area with members of Deskonocidos, Neon Piss, The New Flesh, Criaturas and more. Here at Doomtown Records headquarters, Silent Era's music heavily reminds us of the late eighties sound we really dig and that is melodic side of UK hardcore and greats such as HDQ, Sofa Head and Instigators, as well as bands like Poland's Post Regiment."

"Their approach for writing songs is definitely too fast to be called post-punk, but the chorus laden guitars and dark, melodic vocals could appeal to fans of that particular genre, whilst it's also too melodic to be filed under straight up hardcore punk."

Recorded by Stan Wright at Buzz or Howl in Portland, OR.
Mastered by Daniel Husayn at North London Bomb Factory.
