about 20 paces down from the foggy "iced earth" top I took this picture.
We normally have abot 80 some inches of snow a yer but the city folk wanted it more.
If anyone has read my rambling posts lately, I've been a bit down for no real reason. Today I snapped for the first time in a long time and found myself driving just outside of Silver Bay. I drove back blasting some Morne, [/i]Amebix[/i] and Wolves In The Throne Room as loud as I bare it to calm myself down. It's been a pretty balmy day and overcast day so I snapped some photos along the way back. Enjoy!
Beaver Bay, MN
Just outside of Duluth near the city's water intake. I shot a continuous set that I may make into a slide-show.
Here's a small video of what it was like out there. I could barely hold the camera while holding myself up against that wind!
Back down in Canal Park in Duluth, after I calmed down a bit over a cup of Tea.
Another video, the waves engulfed the whole beach.
A buildings roof top near by.
Dang these are great!
Okay, these are not nature photos. I Made these from scratch on photoshop a while ago. Thought it be fun to re-re-repost em. I have a art show next week. The first two images are printed to the size of wall posters, the original images being HUGE so....yeah. Enjoy.
like the videos! and that last image is spectacular! hope the show goes well!!!!!!
I haven't been taken photos as of late, I've been focusing on making myself a more sober person after a 4 1/2 relationship tanked. I am planning on buying a new Nikon DSLR. So here are a few that I've snapped in the past few months, nothing special just felt like sharing.
Midnight bike ride around the Canal in Duluth.
Chester Park just four blocks from where I live. I run the three miles of trails every morning and hike them again later in the evening with my dog that still lives with my ex.
